September and October Offer Events Galore in Minnesota

Fall is an exciting time for our dental team at Calcagno Cosmetic & Family Dentistry. We are full of pride over the accomplishments of our dental team members. We are pleased as punch that we were able to support a worthy cause recently. And finally, we’re excited to be spooked by another wonderful Halloween. Read on to learn more about community events and announcements from Rochester, MN dentist, Dr. Gilly Calcagno and the rest of her team.

Minnesota Dental Assistants

First, we are so proud of Kimberly, our Practice Administrator who is the current president of the Minnesota Dental Assistants Association. Kimberly was chosen to be one of the Minnesota delegates to attend this year’s American Dental Assistants Association conference in San Antonio, TX.  This conference represents an incredible opportunity for continuing education for dental professionals. There were also political discussions on the topic of supporting licensure and credentials for all states. Kimberly is the second from the right in the picture to the left, below.

Join the Journey

Next, our dental team was proud to participate in the annual Join the Journey 10-mile walk.  Join the Journey is a local organization which raises money in support of women facing breast cancer in Minnesota. Our team – the Tooth Fairies – participated in the walk on September 20^th, and it was such a great day, we plan to do the same thing annually from here on out!

Fright at the Farm

Finally, are you ready or Halloween? Our team at Calcagno Cosmetic & Family Dentistry certainly is. If you want to get into the spirit without ingesting too many cavity inducing and waist widening pieces of candy, why not join us at The History Center of Olmsted County’s Fright at the Farm?
