Events for the Entire Family in Rochester, MN
Earthfest 2015: This year marks the first of Rochester’s annual EarthFest Celebrations. The nine-day event goes from April 18th until April 26th. The goal is to educate people on sustainable living with education, interactive displays, and green products.
Birdwalk: The Bird Walk will be lead by Bill Bruins on April 25th from 7:30 am until noon. The walk will occur at the Root River County Park, with plenty of trails that are home to a variety of birds. You will need to purchase a County Park day pass or an annual pass for entry to the park.
LEGO Fun: bring your children to the Rochester Public Library at 101 2nd Street SE. The library will provide the LEGOs® and the program is for children in grades K through 5th. Magician Bob Miller: The magician will be performing Thursdays at Los Dos Amigos on 1611 Hwy 52 N from 5:30pm until 7:30pm. For more information, call 536-4527. Fun for the entire family!
A Little Bit Better: A volunteer event for the entire family. From April 18th until April 28th, families in Rochester, MN can volunteer to pick up trash and improve their neighborhood. For more information visit www.rneighbors.org or call 328-2431. Last year alone over 20,000 pounds of trash were pocked up by 1,384 volunteers.
