Upcoming Community Events
- STEM: On Saturday, June 24th your children can enjoy science day at the Minnesota Children’s Museum from 11am until 1pm. Crystal Mendoza will be presenting a STEM program. Crystal Mendoza works for the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine Society for the Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans.
- Feed the Bison: On Saturday, June 24th the Oxbow Park/Zollman Zoo will be offering a chance to see the majestic bison up close and watch as staff feed them. There is a hike involved, but accommodations can be made for those who need to drive. The event starts at 1pm and the park/zoo is located at 5731 County Road 105 NW and you can call 507-775-2451 for more information.
- Intro to Geocaching: The Whitewater State Park will be hosting an intro to geocaching event on Saturday, June 24th from 3pm until 4:30pm. You can learn how to use a GPS to geocache. Bring your own or use one that the park provides.
- Zumbro River Community Festival: Camp Victory will be hosting their Zumbro River Community Festival on Saturday, June 24th from 4pm until 10:30pm. Admission is free and here will be kids events and a fireworks display at 10pm.
