On Saturday, September 23, you and your family can enjoy a guided bird walk through Root River County Park. During this walk, you will be led through the many scenic walking trails available at Root River County Park. As you pass through, your guide can help you identify a number of different bird species native to the region. This walk offers invigorating exercise, information about the local ecology around Rochester, and more than a few idyllic views. The walk is being offered for FREE, meaning there will be no registration fees to worry about.

The Root River County Park Bird Walk will take place on Saturday, September 23. Interested parties will meet at the Heintz Center at 8:30 am that morning to car pool to the site.

Those interested in joining will meet at the Heintz Center at Rochester Technical Community College. The address is 1926 Collegeview Rd East SE, Rochester, MN 55904.
