Rochester is a wonderful place and we’re proud to serve the residents here. In today’s blog, we’re going to look at some fun events that will make braving the cold worthwhile!
Community Events
- Winterfest: Rochester Winterfest 16 takes place from January 18th until February 18th. There will be a number of fun events for residents to take part in, many of which will benefit local organizations and charities. There will fun meals, live entertainment, ice skating, art galleries, sled races, a candlelight ski, and more. You and the entire family can enjoy a number of fun and exciting events!
- SocialICE: From February 8th through the 10th you can take in Minnesota’s ice bar SocialICE. The Peace Plaza in downtown Rochester will be transformed into an ice bar, with different themed sections. Admission is free and the event is open to everyone. There will also be live DJs and other entertainment over the weekend. Themed sections include a Game of Thrones style bar, The Half Barrel Bar and Kitchen. There will also be Mardi Gras, carnival, Dr. Seuss, Lego, King Kong, and Back to the Future areas too.
- Rochester Art Center: The Rochester Art Center is a great way to get out of the house without being out in the cold! You can enjoy exhibits, family days, and special events. They are open Wednesday through Saturday and are located at 40 Civic Center Drive SE.
