On Saturday, February 9, the Polar Plunge event will take place! This event, part of the yearly WinterFest activities, is celebrating its eighteenth year. People who raise the minimum $75 for Special Olympics Minnesota can take a chilly leap into Foster Arend Pond. You can also support the cause by picking up merchandise at the event, and check out sponsor activities. This event creates a great opportunity for Rochester area residents to support a good cause, and help people in need. The Polar Plunge event is taking place on Saturday, February 9. The event is scheduled to begin at 1:30 pm.

Participants will gather at Foster Arend Park for this event.
Cost:
To join the official plunge, participants are asked to raise at least $75 for Special Olympics Minnesota.

During the Polar Plunge event, the Rochester community will come together in support of the Special Olympics program. People who raise the proper donations can take a special jump into Foster Arend Pond, while also checking out sponsor activities. Merchandise supporting the Special Olympics will also be on hand.
