At Calcagno Cosmetic and Family Dentistry, we like to remind our patients about upcoming events in our community. Next week, many families will be celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday. There are a lot of opportunities in our community for the entire family to get together and have some fun.
Community Events
Sensory Science: The Rochester Public Library will be hosting a sensory science event on Thursday, November 19th at 6:30pm. The event is open to all children but is designed for those with sensory challenges or who are on the autism spectrum. Adults must attend with their children. Grown Up Coloring: On November 19th from 6:30pm until 8:30pm A Child’s Kingdom will be hosting Grown Up Coloring. Come and enjoy a fun evening of coloring! The event takes place at 1621 North Broadway. You can call 507-289-2287 for more information. They hope to see you and your family there.
Wild Turkeys: On Saturday, November 21st the Oxbow Park and Zollamn Zoo will be hosting an event to showcase wild turnkeys. The event starts at 1pm and takes place at 5731 Country Rd. 105 NW, Byron. You can call 507-775-2451 for more information or to make sure the event is still happening in case of inclement weather.
Christmas at Mayowood: From now until December 13th you can enjoy a Christmas tour of Mayowood Manor. Tickets for adults are $15 and $10 for kids between the ages of 6 and 14. The tour may last between one and one-and-a-half hours. The tour starts at the History Center and will include refreshments and a special film.
