What’s Happening in Rochester, MN?
Complimentary Chair Massages: Every Friday the Post Town Winery will be offering complimentary five-minute chair massages. The winery is located a 4481 (HWY 14) N Frontage Road.
Book Sale: The Rochester Public Library will be taking part in WinterFest XIV with a book sale on February 12th. Proceeds support the library and they accept cash, check, and credit card. The Rochester Public Library is located at 101 2nd Street SE.
Candlelight Ski: As part of WinterFest XIV, the Quarry Hill Nature Center will be hosting a Valentine’s Candlelight Ski on February 12th. After hitting the trail, there will be a fire and champagne and snacks. All equipment is provided. You must be over 21 and register ahead of time by calling 507-328-3950. The event is located at 701 Silver Creek Road NE.
Polar Plunge: As part of WinterFest XIV, you can take part in a polar plunge. The 15th Annual Rochester Polar Plunge raises money for the Special Olympics, raising over $200,000 last year. The event will take place at the Whistle Binkies on the Lake at 247 Wood Lake Drive SE on February 12th.
Emerging Artists Exhibit: Crossings at Carnegie will be hosting am Emerging Artists Exhibit from February 12th until February 13th. The artists are all undergraduate and graduate college students, as well as non-student artists who haven’t been featured in a gallery before. The event is located at 320 East Ave, Zumbrota, MN 55992.
