Summer is winding down and we’re officially in September! Once again, your team at Calcagno Cosmetic and Family Dentistry would like to share a few upcoming community events. We live in a wonderful community filled with fun activities for the entire family. In addition, remember that we’re always available for checkups, cleanings, or for new patients, free cosmetic consultations.
Fun Community Events
- SkiDox Water Ski Show: This weekend is the last SkiDoz Water Ski Team show of 2016. You can enjoy a special show at the Fisherman’s Inn at Lake Zumbro on Monday at 1pm. Admission is free but the team welcomes donations. You can email rwscontact@gmail.com for more details. You can watch the show from a table at the Fisherman’s Inn restaurant or bring a lawn chair or blanket to see the show from the beach.
- Scheels Biking Club: Scheels at the Apache Mall will be hosting a biking club ride on September 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th. There is no registration and anyone can join, but kids under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The ride starts at Scheels, led by one of their expert riders, and will end at the same location. Refreshments are provided but you must wear a helmet. The mall is located at 1220 12th Street. After your ride, the Applebee’s in Apache Mall will be offering free appetizers and drink specials for participants.
- Try Hockey for Free: You can take advantage of Hockey for Free Day at the Rec Center (Elton Hills Drive) on Saturday, September 10th from 10am until noon. The event is open to boys and girls ages four to nine.
- Plaster Cast Making: Oxbow Park/Zollman Zoo will be offering a Plastic Track Making course on Saturday, September 10th starting at 11am. Participants will work with real tracks found at the Nature Center.
