March Community Events
- Treasure Hunt Week: The Children’s Museum (1643 North Broadway Suite A River Center Plaza) will be hosting a Leprechaun themed sensory table in honor of St. Patrick’s Day on Saturday March 18th and Sunday March 19th. There will also be a scavenger hunt for special green items hidden throughout the museum. A great time for children of all ages and their parents! - Nature Nuts: Each month the Quarry Hill Nature Center holds a nature-themed outdoor adventure featuring story, art, and outdoor exploration. The vent is meant for children between the ages of two and five. Admission is $8 per pair, or $6.50 per pair for members. The next event takes place Saturday, March 18th from 10am until 11am. The theme is “How Egg-citing”.
- Maple Syruping: The Oxbow Park/Zollman Zoo will be hosting Maple Syruping on Saturday March 18th and 25th at 1pm. After a brief presentation on the history of syrup, the staff will hike with you to the Oxbow’s sugar bush to show how syrup is made. The presentation then ends with a free sample of syrup.
