With a few simple steps you can strengthen your smile from home. Daily maintenance can protect your teeth from the onset of cavities or possibly even periodontal disease. Each morning, you should thoroughly brush your teeth with a soft-bristled brush. In the evening, you will brush again and floss your teeth as well. Doing so removes food particles that are stuck on or between the teeth. Bacteria can no longer break down the particles, a process which would cause plaque buildup and increased oral acidity.
