Family Events in Rochester, MN
Good Natured Kids: held Tuesday, June 9th at 9:30am, this event is meant for children ages three and four and their parents. Held at the Quarry Hill Nature Center, they will look for bluebirds, look at nests, enjoy a refreshment, and even create their own little bluebird. Parents will need to register their children in advanced. For more information, contact 328-3950.
Nature Time at the Beach: Whitewater State Park will be holding Nature Time at the Beach on Wednesday June 10th from 1:00pm until 2:00pm. If interested, families should attend the Visitor’s Center. For more information call 507-932-3007, extension 226.
Wehrenberg’s Family Series: The Wehrenberg Theatres will be hosting a Family Summer Series, screening movies every Wednesday and Thursday for families. Admission is only a dollar and this week’s film is Penguins of Madagascar.
Storytime: ABC & Toy Zone at the Miracle Mile Mall will be hosting free story time on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 10:30am. Call 286-8440 for more information.
Campfire Astronomy: ON Friday, June 12th the Whitewater State Park will be hosting a Campfire Astronomy event for the entire family. Families will arrive at the Visitor Center and proceed from there. We will discuss planets and constellations.
Tween Night: Bounce World will be hosting tween night for older kids ages 10 to 15. Bounce World is located at 4430 19th Street NW. You can call 316-0788 for more information. Admission is $20, which includes refreshments, crafts, games, karaoke, prizes, and inflatables.
