Answer: First, you will receive an initial treatment chairside at our office. We will also take impressions of your teeth in order to create a set of trays. After prescribing a bleaching gel we send you home, where you will wear the gel-filled trays daily for a set amount of time. After a week to ten days you will return to the office, where we will complete a final treatment. Once done, the treatment can brighten smiles by multiple shades.

Answer: A variety of factors can lead to discoloration, including smoking, drinks with dark pigments (soda, tea, coffee, and red wine), fluorosis, trauma, and medications such as tetracycline.
Question: How can I help my results last longer?
Answer: With routine dental maintenance you can help reduce the appearance of future stains. We recommend brushing and flossing daily, cutting back on sugary foods and drinks, and having your teeth professionally cleaned at least twice a year.
