Looking for summer fun with the family? Having your kids come from school can be challenging. You don’t want them watching TV all day but may have trouble finding an activity. Fortunately, in Rochester, MN there are a number of fun family activities to take part in.
Fun Family Events in Rochester, MN
Parent/Child Climbing Class: The Prairie Walls Climbing Gym will be offering a 2-hour introductory class for kids and their parents. Children over the age of 12 will learn safety tips and how to climb. Children under the age of 11 will learn to climb with their parents. Classes will be held on Tuesdays from 4pm until 6pm and Saturdays from 2pm until 4pm. Parents and kids over 12 will pay an admission fee of $40. Children under 11 will pay $20.
Free Summer Movie: The Paragon Chateau 14 will be screening free family movies on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays at 10 am until August 21st. This week kids will be able to watch Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
Water Ski Show: The Ski Dox Water Ski team will be performing a water ski show every Wednesday until Labor Day. The shows will occur at the Fisherman’s Inn on Lake Zumbro. Shows are at 7pm in July and 6:30pm in August. A perfect entertainment opportunity for the entire family.
Wehrenberg’s Summer Series: Wehrenberg Theaters will be screening family movies until August 6th. The show times will be Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10am. Admission is only a dollar. This week they will be showing The Lego Movie.
Bob Miller Magician: Enjoy a magic show from Bob Miller at Los Dos Amigos. Shows will be held on Thursdays from 5:30pm until 7:30pm. Kids can enjoy a show and balloon animals. The address is 1611 Hwy 52 N. and you can call 507-536-452 for more information.
