At Calcagno Cosmetic and Family Dentistry we want to remind our patients and readers about all the fun community events happening in Rochester. We live in a wonderful community, one that provides fun and educational opportunities to get out of the house, learn new things, and meet new people.
Community Events for the Entire Family
Santa at ABC Zone: The ABC & Toy Zone at the Miracle Mile Shopping Center will have Santa available for meetings and pictures from now until December 24th. They will also be hosting various special events throughout the month of December.
Jolly Trolley Holiday Light Show: From December 4th until the 31st you can enjoy the Jolly Trolley Holiday Lights Tours. The trolleys are heated and will take you on a 75-minute tour of the light displays in town. Tickets should be booked early and are $15 for adults and $10 for kids 11 and younger. There are no tours on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. You can call 507-421-0573 for more information.
It’s A Wonderful Life: The Rochester Civic Center will be performing this holiday classic throughout December. Tickets are $29 for adults and $19 for students. Seniors can get tickets for $24.
Christmas at Mayowood: Christmas at Mayowood includes a introductory film, a tour of the mansion, and refreshments. Call 507-289-9447 for more information. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for kids between the ages of 6 and 14.
Winter Geocaching: Whitewater State Park will be hosting a geocaching event on Saturday December 5th from 10am until noon. There will be a short initial presentation. In case of snow you can bring your own snowshoes or use the ones the park provides.
