Monkey Junction Indoor Playplace: Located at 4500 60th Ave NW, Monkey Junction is a playplace for kids between the ages of 0 and 6. Children can interact and have a fun place to play with the weather is too cold. Admission is $1 per child and you can call 507-254-9205 for more information.
Give Kids A Smile: The Rochester Salvation Army’s Good Samaritan Dental Clinic will be taking part in the 14th annual “Give Kids A Smile” event. Sponsored by the Minnesota Dental Association, the even provides free preventive dental care to kids ages 5 to 17, as well as education on proper dental care. Currently, available times are 4pm or 6pm on Wednesday, January 20th and Thursday, January 21st. To schedule an appointment, call 507-424-4196 on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday between 9am and 3pm.
Mothers of Multiples: A group dedicated to mothers of multiples, they meet on Wednesday, January 20th at 7pm. Meetings take place at the Meadow Lakes Senior Living Center at 22 45th Ave NW. For more information visit www.somnmoms.org.
Animal Secrets: The Children’s Museum (1643 North Broadway Ste. A) will be hosting Animal Secrets from Friday, January 22nd until Sunday January 24th. Admission is $5.50 and children under the age of one are free. For more information you can call 507-218-3100 or visit http://rochester.mcm.org.
Rochester Winter Farmers Market: The winter farmer’s market will be held at the Olmsted Country Fairgrounds in building #41 on Saturday, January 23rd from 9am until noon. Vendors can accept credit, debit, cash, and EBT cards. There are also gift certificates available. You can purchase, fresh product, baked and canned goods, meats and eggs, dairy, and even holiday floral arrangements.
