What do you do when your teeth become discolored, or perhaps appear misshapen or uneven? In these situations, you may consider seeing the dentist to improve the appearance of your smile. We use cosmetic dentistry to target common esthetic issues and correct them. Will cosmetic dentistry benefit your smile?
Our Cosmetic Treatments
- Teeth Whitening: This unique procedure combines at-home and in-office whitening to offer a solution to both extrinsic (surface stains) and intrinsic (permanent stains forming below the enamel) discoloration. Patients undergo an initial office treatment, then wear a set of trays filled with bleaching gel at home for a certain amount of time. Total treatment time at home is one to two weeks. Finally, you receive one last office treatment to remove stains and help desensitize the teeth.
- Veneers: We place thin shells of porcelain onto the front of the teeth, completely changing the shape and shape of the tooth. Placement takes two visits and the procedure addresses gaps, stains, the appearance of minor misalignment, and more.
- Bonding: Using the same material we use for white fillings, we can repair chipped teeth or mask discoloration in a single visit. We can also close gaps between teeth.
- Crowns: A dental crown can cover the entire visible portion of a tooth, reshaping a malformed or damaged teeth and mask permanent teeth stains. We use CEREC technology to design create, and place a dental crown in one visit. The crowns are made from lifelike ceramic material.
