Dental Crown
A crown fits over the visible portion of the tooth. Using CEREC technology, we can actually create and place on in a single visit. This option addresses more serious damage and infections. After preparing the tooth, we take detailed impressions using an intraoral camera. We then using the information gathered to create a 3D computer model, which is uploaded into a computer and used by the CEREC machine to mill the restoration. In the same visit, we can then place the restoration.
Dental Filling
For most cases of decay, we can recommend a filling. We can shade the metal-free composite resin and place it onto the tooth. We can then cure the material under a light.
