The holidays will soon be coming to an end, but many kids will be out of school for another week. Looking for something to do during your winter break? - Preschool Open Gym: Soccer World will be hosting a Preschool Open Gym from December 26th until the 30th between 9:30am and 11:30am. Admission is $3.50 for kids two and up and free children kids under two. Admission is parents is free, regardless of their child’s age. A great way for your kids to burn off pent up energy!
- Family Creation Stations: The Rochester Public Library will be hosting Family Creation Stations on Tuesday, December 27th at 6:30pm. The stations are for preschool age children and teach them about art and science. There will also be stories. You don’t need to register, but parents must attend and stay with their children. The library is located at 101 Second Street SE.
- Inventor’s Workshop: The Rochester Children’s Museum will be hosting an Inventor’s Workshop from Wednesday December 28th until Sunday, January 1st. You can call 507-218-3100 or visit http://mcm.org/rochester for more details. Kids can sue supplies to invent something new and there will be new items on the sensory table. Admission is free for kids under one and $5.50 for all children one and up. The museum is located at 1643 North Broadway Ste A in the River Center Plaza. Hours are: Wednesday 9am until 1pm, Thursday and Friday 9am until 5pm, Saturday 9am until 7pm, and Sunday noon until 4pm.
