On Thursday, September 14, families in Rochester can come out and take part in the Chili Challenge! The event, which helps raise funds for the Boys & Girls Club of Rochester, provides live music, family-friendly entertainment, and a variety of different chilis to sample. While there will be plenty for younger visitors to take part in, adults can enjoy the Homebrew competition, where beer enthusiasts will show off samples of their own creations for sampling. Discounted rates for chili tasting tickets are available for those who order in advance of the event.
When:
The event will take place on Thursday, September 14, and is scheduled to run from 4 pm until 8 pm.
Where:
The Chili Challenge is taking place at Peace Plaza in downtown Rochester, at 1st Ave SW and 1st St SW.
Cost:
The cost for adults to take chili samples is $15. Adults interested in chili and beer can receive access to both for $25. Youths can enter for $10, and kids five and under will be allowed in at no cost. A $3 discount on these prices is available if you order online. You can do so here.
Activities Include:
A chili tasting will be held, as well as a tasting session for homebrew and craft beer. There will also be live music and family-friend activities to take part in.
