Thursday, January 18, marks the official start of Rochester’s annual WinterFest celebration! This year’s event, WinterFest XVI, will bring a variety of great entertainment and activities to area residents, encouraging them to make the most of this frosty season. Local businesses will take part, and there will be plenty of live entertainment scheduled throughout the fest for families to enjoy. Rochester uses the WinterFest event to help promote seasonal activities to families in and around the area. The many events held are also used to raise funds for events and programs that are supported by local nonprofits.
WinterFest XVI Details:
WinterFest XVI will host a series of activities throughout the Rochester area. Rather than limit the event to one type of entertainment, families will be able to look forward to a wide range of fun, in many different settings. You can enjoy live music one night, then enjoy a special sale at a Rochester business the next day! Local volunteers and local organizations will join forces to provide plenty of excitement, while also raising money and awareness for activities supported by local nonprofit groups.
