Casual joggers and exercise enthusiasts can put on their running shoes and help support a good cause this April. On Saturday, April 14, the Timmay 5K/Fun Run will give Rochester runners a chance to show off their cardio while helping support efforts to encourage more people to become organ donors. The Tim Rasmusson Foundation is hosting the race in order to raise funds in support of Gift Of Life Transplant House, a group dedicated to supporting organ and tissue donation efforts. The 5K fun run/walk welcomes runners of varying abilities, and will encourage everyone to come out and have fun, while also helping support a noble cause.
When:
The Timmay 5K/Fun Run is being held on the morning of Saturday, April 14. The run will begin at 9 am.
Where:
The starting line for the race is being set at East Silver Lake Park, which is located at 1201 East Silver Lake Dr NE, Rochester, MN.
Cost:
A $25 entrance fee is required to join the race.
