Rochester City and Mayo Historical Tour: Your family rides a vintage trolley and listens to a narrated tour of the cities sights and history. You can jump off at different points to explore the city and then hop back on to continue the tour. The event occurs daily with the exception of Mondays. Historical Mayowood Mansion Tour: Handicap accessible and newly renovated, your family can view the historic Mayowood Mansion. Tours occur weekly on Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The mansion is located at 3720 Mayowood Road SW, Rochester, MN 55902.
Rochester Food Tours: Starting August 21st and lasting until October 31st, this is a three-hour walking tour of the downtown area’s famous eateries and a look at the city’s history. Fin for all ages, the tours are held every week on Fridays and Saturdays.
Assisi Heights Tour: The Sisters of St. Francis founded one of the first hospitals in Rochester. You can now tour their home, Assisi Heights, on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 1001 14th Street NW Rochester, MN 55901. Please call ahead for reservations and tour information.
