Fun Community Events
Fall Finger Painting: The Children’s Museum at 1643 North Broadway, Ste A at River Center Plaza will be hosting a fall finger painting event. Open to all ages, museum admission is $5.50. You can call 507-218-3100 for more information. The event will be from 9am to 1pm on Wednesday, 9am until 5pm on Thursday and Friday, 9am to 7pm on Saturday, and noon to 4pm on Sunday.
Christmas at Mayowood Tours: From November 7th until December 13th you can enjoy a Christmas themed Mayowood Manor tour. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children. There will be a special film and refreshments to start the tour. Park in the south lot behind the mansion. You can call 507-282-9447 to make reservations.
Breakfast with the Snow Queen: Ay Hy-Vee North kids can enjoy a breakfast with the Snow Queen on November 7th from 9am until 11am. You will need to register beforehand, as spots are limited. Call 507-289-0255 for more information and to register. Meals are $5.
Free Family Day: The Rochester Art Center will be hosting a free family day on November 7th from 1pm until 4pm. Children and adults will learn about kaleidoscope and make their own afterward. For more information contact the Art and Education curator, Jovan Speller, at 507-424-3308.
Family Movie Night: The Homestead Church will be hosting a free family movie night showing of Inside Out on Saturday, November 7th at 5pm. There will also be a light dinner and snacks. The church is located at 6301 Bandel Road NW, Ste 503.
