- Egg Painting Party: Color Me Mine will be holding an Egg Painting Party on April 8th at 9am. The event is open to the whole family. Celebrate the Easter holiday by creating unique eggs with your family!
- Fossil Hunting: On Saturday April 8th from 9am until 2pm you can enjoy fossil hunting in Fillmore County. The event is semi-private, so you will need to preregister to hold a place for your group. The event is open to group sizes between of one and ten and for people of all ages. You will visit three different sites, learning about the area’s history and collecting fossils significantly older than the dinosaurs. You will also have the chance to tour fossil collections as well. For an additional $5 you can also receive a laminated fossil map. To register, visit their website here. - Animal Enrichment: On Saturday April 8th you can learn about Animal Enrichment from the Oxbow Park/Zollman Zoo. Starting at 1pm, you can learn the techniques that zoo keepers use to ensure animals remain happy and active. You can also help create a new toy for one of their animals. - Storytime: ABC & Toy Zone in the Miracle Mile Shopping Center will be having storytime with Peter on Saturday April 8th at 10:30am. You can call 507-286-8440 for more details. A great way to spend an afternoon with your young ones!
