On Saturday, May 26, and Sunday, May 27, Rochester runners can take part in the Scheels Med City Marathon! Over the course of this two day event, there will be a number of different course lengths to take part in. In addition to half and full marathons, there will be several shorter runs, with a 5K race, and several kid-friendly events. Of course, the Scheels Med City Marathon will feature a runners’ expo, a fun zone for kids, and live music! At the end of the runs, a closing award ceremony will be held. This is a great opportunity for seasoned runners, as well as a great outdoor event for families to enjoy!
When:
Races will be held on the mornings of Saturday, May 26, and Sunday, May 27. Kids’ races and the 5K race will be held on May 26; the half and full marathons will be held on Sunday, May 27.
Where:
Racers can be picked up for a bus trip to the courses from the Mayo Civic Center, which will also host the Runners’ Expo, and the award ceremony.
Cost:
Race registration varies based on the course selected, and the date of registration.
