On Saturday, October 5th, you can join your fellow Rochester runners in an outdoor race, and raise money for a good cause by joining the Superhero Dyslexia Dash! This will be the fifth annual running of this event, which encourages participants to done their superhero attire, and help raise funds to helps students who struggle with dyslexia. Before the race, there will be a special kids’ fun run hosted at the event, and there will be a complimentary commemorative shirt for participants. Running is a great way to keep your body healthy. The fifth annual Superhero Dyslexia Dash is being held on the morning of Saturday, October 6.
Where:
This event is being hosted at Soldiers Memorial Field Park.
Cost:
The entry fee for adults is $30. Kids under the age of seventeen can gain admittance for $7. The funds raised will help support students who struggle with dyslexia.
Activities Include:
There will be a 5K run/walk, and a special kids’ race held in the morning, with runners encouraged to dress as their favorite superhero. Runners who register by September 20 can earn a complimentary t-shirt, and kids can receive a special gift bag.
